Annie is an interdisciplinary performer of musical theatre, opera, and contemporary repertoire. Hailed by the LA Times as "especially impressive" and "a perky sensation," Annie currently covers the roles of Christine, Carlotta, Madame Giry, and Ensemble/Meg in Masquerade, the immersive Phantom of the Opera in NYC (dir. Diane Paulus).
She previously played Elsa Schraeder in the International and US Broadway Tours of The Sound of Music (dir. Jack O’Brien), Jess in the Tony Award-winning adaptation of A Christmas Carol (dir. Matthew Warchus), and Anna in the Lincoln Center National Tour of The King and I (dir. Bartlett Sher). Annie has performed solo concerts nationwide and premiered her original English translations of Edith Piaf's songs in a one-woman-show at The Green Room 42 (NYC).
Other recent roles include: Mrs. Nordstrom (Anne U/S) in A Little Night Music at Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Evelyn Nesbit in the site-specific concert of Ragtime on Ellis Island (dir. Sammi Cannold), Witch in LA Opera’s Macbeth (dir. Darko Tresnjak), and more.
In addition to her stage endeavors, Annie is a dancer and film actress, and plays the accordion and guitar. Annie holds a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from UCLA and a B.A. in Music and Human Biology from Stanford University.
